I hold a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Université de Montréal and a M.Sc. in Microbiology and Immunology from McGill University. I gained teaching and research experience at McGill University, Concordia University, University of Maryland, University of Vienna, and the KLI Institute. I am currently lecturer in philosophy of science at University of Bristol. My CV can be downloaded here.
My research interests lie in metaphysics, epistemology, and the philosophy of science broadly construed. I am particularly interested in the unity of science, philosophical problems posed by causation, and mechanistic explanations in the life sciences.
